Rutgers Symphony Band 

The Rutgers University Symphony Band’s membership is drawn primarily from the finest undergraduate instrumental music majors at the Mason Gross School of the Arts. Membership is also open to highly qualified non-majors. The highest quality traditional and contemporary literature for wind band makes up the foundation of musical repertoire performed by the group. The Symphony Band is proud to be included with the Rutgers Wind Ensemble on eight educational CDs on the Mark Custom Recording label.

The conductor of the Symphony Band, Darryl Bott is a teacher of undergraduate instrumental music education, and instrumental conducting at the Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Symphony Band meets in the fall and spring semesters on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9.
