The MusicWeb server machinery started life in 1991 as an Iverson 386SX-16 PC, upgraded with a slightly-used Pentium 133 motherboard, 32 Megs RAM, and a 5 Gigabyte hard drive.
In mid-2001 it was replaced with a lightly-used AMD K6/2-350, 128M RAM, and a larger drive; mid-2004 moved to a sub-compact Pentium III 866MHz. Web-server software Xitami 2.4, hiding in Walters Hall on the Douglass campus.
In May 2009, MusicWeb was re-hosted on the School's main server.
